Matt Tracy possesses extensive experience in environmental management and project leadership within municipal and governmental contexts. Currently serving as Site Superintendent for Metro South Station since January 2007, Matt also holds the role of Principal Solid Waste Transfer Station Operations Planner, managing projects such as a $1.1 million grant program with Oregon DEQ and EPA. Previously, Matt served as a City Councilor for the City of Gladstone from July 2017 to December 2022 and was the Solid Waste Administrator for Columbia County Oregon, overseeing a significant $4.4 million solid waste transfer station project. With a robust background in project management and environmental compliance, Matt's career also includes positions at Sky Valley Associates and Waste Recovery Inc., as well as military service with the U.S. Army as an Intercept Linguist. Educationally, Matt holds a Master of Public Administration in Environmental Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Portland State University, among other certifications and diplomas.
