Antonis Giannopoulos

Antonis Giannopoulos is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in information technology and digital transformation. Currently serving as the Director of Information Technology at METRO AEBE since January 2021, Antonis previously held various managerial roles at Vodafone from 2015 to 2020, focusing on IT governance and quality assurance. Antonis spent two decades at hellas online, where responsibilities included managing multiple IT teams and overseeing significant projects in service provisioning and network management. Early career experiences include programming, analysis, and system administration, alongside service in the Hellenic Navy Hydrographic Service. Antonis holds a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and possesses a strong background in IT strategy, project management, and system design.
