Dorota Swoboda

Dorota Swoboda has a diverse work experience in the retail industry, particularly in food sourcing and purchasing. Dorota has held various roles at different companies, starting in 2005. From 2005 to 2009, Swoboda worked as an Assistant Strategic Buyer in the Fresh and Frozen department at MGB METRO Group Buying Polska Sp. z o.o. i Spółka Komandytowa. In 2010, they joined MAKRO Cash and Carry Polska S.A. as a Purchasing Buyer, focusing on Frozen and Delicatessen products. In 2011, Swoboda moved to METRO AG, where they have held several positions, including Own Brand Product/Sourcing Manager for Fresh and Frozen, Sourcing Food Expert for Edible Grocery, Head of Global Food Sourcing for Sweets/Confectionery/Bakery, and currently, Head of Global Food Sourcing for Edible Grocery.

Dorota Swoboda completed Postgraduate Studies in Administration in local management at the University of Warsaw from 2004 to 2005. Prior to that, they obtained a Magister (Mgr) degree from Mazowiecka Wyższa Szkoła Humanistyczno-Pedagogiczna w Łowiczu from 1998 to 2003. Their studies at the latter institution focused on 1. Social Pedagogy and 2. Education Management.
