Dr. Olaf Kruse

Dr. Olaf Kruse currently serves as Vice President Treasury Controlling and Geschäftsführer of METRO Finance B.V. at METRO AG, a position held since January 2002. Previous experience includes serving as Teamleiter Devisenmanagement at Babcock Borsig AG from August 1999 to December 2001, and as Banker Firmenkunden at Deutsche Bank from August 1987 to April 1990. Dr. Kruse holds a doctoral degree from Ruhr University Bochum, where participation as Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter took place from 1995 to 1999, and also earned a Diplom-Ökonom in Wirtschaftswissenschaften from the same institution between 1991 and 1995.
