Jelena Drobnjak

Jelena Drobnjak has extensive experience in finance and controlling, currently serving as Head of Finance Countries and Head of Investment Controlling at METRO AG since September 2016. Previously, Jelena held roles such as Commercial Controlling Team Lead and Financial Controller at Metro Cash & Carry Serbia from November 2012 to August 2016, and worked in tax consulting at PwC Serbia for a brief period in 2012. Earlier career positions include Purchasing Manager at thyssenkrupp Materials Serbia and an internship in controlling at thyssenkrupp Materials NA. Jelena started their professional journey as a scholarship holder in the Zoran Djindjic Internship Programme and completed an internship at Phoenix Industrial d.o.o. Educational credentials include a diploma in International Economy and Foreign Trade from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Economics.
