Katharina Sophie Sundermann

Katharina Sophie Sundermann currently serves as the Head of Data Protection & IT Law at METRO AG since January 2021. Prior to this role, Sundermann was employed at KPMG AG WPG from July 2016 to December 2020, where duties included positions as Rechtsanwältin (Syndikusrechtsanwältin) and Manager in Corporate Governance Services and Forensic, as well as in Compliance & Forensic. Sundermann completed the 2. Juristisches Staatsexamen as a Rechtsreferendarin at Land NRW, OLG Düsseldorf from 2013 to 2016, and holds a 1. Juristisches Staatsexamen in Rechtswissenschaften from Universität Trier, earned between 2008 and 2013.
