Tom McDermott

Tom McDermott has extensive experience in the automotive auction and sales industries, currently serving as the Owner of Metro Auto Auction since January 2005. Previously, Tom held the position of Vice President at ADESA from July 1999 to December 2004, and served as Managing Partner at Auto Dealers Exchange of Minneapolis from July 1996 to September 1999. Tom's earlier roles include Assistant General Manager at Manheim and General Sales Manager at Monticello Ford Mercury. Tom began their career as a Sales Manager at Eide Pontiac Buick Nissan. Tom McDermott holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Aviation Sciences from the University of North Dakota, where studies were completed between 1977 and 1981.
