Joelle Desormes is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in digital transformation, customer experience, and IT management. Currently serving as the Director of Digital Platform and Customer Experience at Metro Inc. since August 2025, Joelle previously held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Groupe LOU-TEC inc., overseeing IT and cybersecurity initiatives. At Vidéotron, Joelle transformed digital product teams and implemented a successful application rationalization strategy, resulting in significant cost savings. Joelle has also contributed to the enhancement of in-store customer experiences at Orckestra and led e-commerce initiatives at ALDO Group, including launching the company's e-commerce site. Joelle's early career included significant roles at Accenture, specializing in system integration. Joelle holds a Baccalaureate in Computer Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal, is a Certified Product Manager Level III from Pragmatic Marketing, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
