Mr. Coutu is President of MMC Investments Inc. since 2010. Previously, he held the position of President of US operations at Le Groupe Jean Coutu (PJC) inc. and President and CEO of The Jean Coutu Group (PJC) USA, Inc. He also served on the board of directors of the National Association of Chain Drug Stores in the United States as well as on the board of directors of Rite Aid Corporation as co-chair of the board of directors. Mr. Coutu holds a bachelor's degree in finance and civil law from the University of Sherbrooke and a master's degree in business administration (MBA) from the University of Rochester (Simons School of Business). He is governor of the Faculty of Administration of the University of Sherbrooke. In 2005, he received an honorary doctorate from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
