Sumendu Mishraa

Sumendu Mishraa is an experienced business professional with a robust background in operations and sales across various sectors. Currently serving as the Business Head for operations and sales at METRO Wholesale India since September 2017, Sumendu has held multiple leadership roles including Sr. Vice President and Zonal Business Head. Prior experience includes a Market Manager position at Wal Mart India where responsibilities included managing sales across multiple stores and leading a substantial team. Sumendu also worked as a Sales Manager at Bharti Del Monte, focusing on product launches and market share growth, and spent over 15 years at Hindustan Unilever in various sales and customer management roles. Sumendu holds an Executive General Management certification from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and a degree from Rajasthan University.
