Ulf Vollmer

Ulf Vollmer currently serves as Squad Lead for IT Asset Management at METRO.digital since October 2025, focusing on advancing IT Asset Management initiatives. Ulf’s extensive experience at METRO AG spans over 13 years in various leadership roles including Head of User Access Management & ITAM, Head of Compliance Control & ITAM, and Head of Operational Business Support. Prior positions include Head of Service Management at METRO AG, and roles as SAP Basis Administrator at multiple organizations including METRO MGI Information Technology GmbH and Thyssen Krupp Information Systems. Ulf began a career in technology with experience starting from Siemens-Nixdorf and Mercedes-Benz. Ulf holds a Diplom-Ingenieurin (Dipl.Ing.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Technische Universität Dresden.
