Nick Van Hise has a diverse work experience in the field of infectious diseases. Nick started their career as a PGY-1 Resident at Mercy in 2013, followed by a year as a PGY-2 Infectious Diseases resident at Indiana University Health. In 2015, they joined Edward Hospital and Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare as a Clinical Specialist in Infectious Diseases. In 2017, they became the Director of Clinical Research and an Infectious Disease Specialist at both Metro Infectious Disease Consultants and Metro Infusion Center. In 2018, they took on the role of Committee Chair for Antimicrobial Stewardship & CDI Prevention at Cdiff Foundation.
Nick Van Hise obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemistry from Bradley University, where they attended from 2005 to 2009. Later, they pursued their Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree at Union University, completing their education from 2009 to 2013, specializing in the field of Pharmacy.
