Ashot Sargsyan

Ashot Sargsyan, PE, MS, serves as the Senior Director of Quality Assurance and Compliance at Los Angeles Metro since June 2016, overseeing the quality processes for a $2 billion Design-Build Metro Rail project, including audits, field inspections, and coordination of testing laboratories. Previously, Ashot worked as a Senior Project Engineer at Athalye Consulting Engineering Services, Inc., managing field construction activities on highway rehabilitation projects, and as a Project Engineer at Caltrop Corporation, providing PM/CM/QA support on DOT projects. Ashot's career also includes structural materials engineering for CALTRANS and bridge design engineering for the City of Philadelphia. Ashot holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from Drexel University.
