Emily Sevier

Emily Sevier currently serves as Senior Director of Special Projects (Arts + Community Enrichment) at Los Angeles Metro since January 2024, previously holding the position of Senior Manager in transportation planning within the same department. Prior experience includes working as Senior Planner in the Metro Art Augmented Staff at FMG + COMPANY and as Senior Arts Program Manager for the City of San José, where significant community engagement and public art initiatives were launched. Emily's consulting work spanned various organizations, offering project management services to notable clients such as the California Community Foundation and the San Diego Regional Airport Authority. Furthermore, leadership was demonstrated as Director of Bay Area Initiatives at the Center for Cultural Innovation and as a Program Associate at The James Irvine Foundation. Emily's educational background includes a Master of Fine Arts in Visual Arts from UC San Diego and a BFA in Painting and Printmaking from Washington University in St. Louis, among other professional development courses.
