Karen Parks

Karen Parks, CPP, PSP, TSSP, currently serves as the Senior Director of the Ambassador Program at Los Angeles Metro since October 2017, where responsibility includes enhancing the transit experience through visibility and support for Metro riders and employees. Previously, Karen held the position of Manager of Physical Security Programs, focusing on federal and state grant applications related to critical needs in threat prevention and emergency response. Karen's extensive experience includes over 12 years at the U.S. Postal Inspection Service as a Physical Security Specialist, providing security program support, and as a Postal Police Captain, overseeing the management of postal police operations. Karen holds a Master of Arts in Security Management from Webster University and a Bachelor of Arts in Audiovisual Communications Technologies from California State University, Long Beach.
