Kavita Mehta

Kavita Mehta, AICP, LEED AP, currently serves as the Executive Officer for Regional Rail at Los Angeles Metro, a position held since October 2019, following the role of Deputy Executive Officer - Project Management. Prior to Los Angeles Metro, Kavita Mehta worked at WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff from October 2015 to October 2019 as a Senior Supervising Environmental Manager, responsible for the CAHSR Program. Earlier experience includes serving as the Environmental Planning Group Manager for AECOM in the LA Metro Region from April 2003 to October 2015, and a Senior Analyst at Rosenow Spevacek Group from September 2002 to April 2003. Kavita Mehta holds a Master of Planning from the University of Southern California and two degrees from CEPT University: a Master of Urban Planning and a Bachelor of Construction Technology.
