Previously, Matthew held positions such as Manager of Rail Fleet Services at Los Angeles Metro and Manager of Rail Maintenance at Chicago Transit Authority, where key responsibilities included overseeing maintenance operations and addressing service disruptions. With a foundational career at Metra Commuter Rail spanning over two decades, Matthew progressed from Locomotive Electrician to Shop Superintendent, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of rail equipment operations and employee training. Matthew's background also includes experience as an Avionics Technician in the United States Marine Corps, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management from Chicago State University.
