Ramon Ortiz

Ramon Ortiz is a seasoned professional in contract compliance with extensive experience spanning over 19 years. Currently serving as the Director of Certification and Economic Development at Los Angeles Metro since December 2014, Ramon has held multiple roles including Principal DEO Representative for Business Development & Finance and Manager of Certification and Economic Development. Prior experience includes working as a Labor Compliance and Small Business Certification Analyst at Metrolink from September 2012 to December 2014 and as a Senior Project Manager at The Solis Group from April 2004 to September 2012. Ramon is also recognized as a certified Cal Trans Inspector and possesses consulting expertise in Section 3 HUD Compliance, Davis Bacon, and DIR contract compliance. Ramon earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from California State University, Los Angeles, where studies were completed between 1994 and 2002. Additionally, experience in loss prevention was gained while working at Saks Fifth Avenue from 2000 to 2004.
