Stephen Norton

Stephen Norton has extensive experience in the field of electrical systems and project management, currently serving as the IEEE OCSSS Chairman since July 2017. With a tenure at Los Angeles Metro beginning in May 1990, Stephen has held various roles, including Sr Equipment Maintenance Instructor, Construction Manager, and Supervisor for Traction Power Systems, overseeing major projects such as the Metro Blue Line TPSS Replacement Project and several extensions of the Metro Gold Line. Prior experience includes a significant tenure in the US Navy as Interior Communications Electrician Chief, where Stephen was responsible for training and policy implementation. Additionally, Stephen was the Managing Owner of Cal-Nois Systems, manufacturing custom cables for naval communications. Educational qualifications include an Associate of Science in Electronic Technology and an Associate of Arts in Business Management from San Diego City College.
