Mathias Knittel

Mathias Knittel is an experienced professional with a strong background in product management, e-commerce, and agile methodologies. Currently serving as Product Area Lead - E-Commerce-ERP at METRO Markets GmbH since August 2022, and an Agile Skill Owner at METRO.digital since March 2019, Mathias plays a pivotal role in fostering agility within team structures. Prior roles include Domain Manager for Transport Management System at METRONOM GmbH and Traceability Program Manager at Metrosystems GmbH, leading significant projects focused on transport management and food traceability. Mathias began the career with a foundation in electronics at Volkswagen and developed expertise in RFID solutions and supply chain management through various positions within METRO group and previous experiences at Siemens VDO Automotive. Mathias holds a Diploma in Industrial Engineering for Electro-technics from Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg.
