Angie Allen

Angie Allen, Ed.D., currently serves as the Transition Coordinator for Metro Nashville Public Schools, a position held since August 2023. Allen also holds the title of Co-Founder and CEO at CollegeLeaps, an organization focused on improving access to college admissions for all students, since January 2020. Previous roles include Senior Director of High School and Post-Secondary Initiatives at Martha O'Bryan Center and Dean of Students at McGavock High School. With extensive experience in education, Allen has held various teaching and leadership positions within Metro Nashville Public Schools, including Instructional Facilitator and Special Education Teacher. Allen's educational background includes a Master’s in Special Education from Tennessee State University and a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Lipscomb University, currently in progress.
