Brenda Diaz

Brenda Diaz, Ed.D, currently serves as the Executive Principal at Metro Nashville Public Schools since July 2017. Prior to this role, Brenda held positions as an Evaluator at Western Governors University from June 2021 to July 2023, and contributed to Shelby County Schools from August 1995 to July 2017, where responsibilities included District Instructional Facilitator, High School Principal, Assistant Principal, and English Teacher. Brenda's educational background includes a Doctor of Education in School Reform, Educational Leadership, and Administration from Union University, along with degrees in Educational Leadership from the University of Memphis, a Master of Arts from the University of Mississippi, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Rust College.
