Claudia Hicks

Claudia Hicks, PhD, currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at Middle Tennessee State University, teaching reading to freshmen needing additional support since August 2022. With extensive experience in education, Claudia has been a School Administrator for Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) since July 2015, overseeing eight priority schools and fulfilling various administrative roles during the school year. Previous positions include Principal at Glenview Elementary, where extensive contributions to professional development and student intervention were made, and Principal Consultant for the State of Tennessee, focusing on the needs of school leaders. Claudia holds an Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Middle Tennessee State University and a Doctor of Philosophy from the same institution, alongside a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Education from Tennessee State University.
