Courtney Flowers

Courtney Flowers is an experienced training facilitator and teacher at Metro Nashville Public Schools, where responsibilities include managing academic course design, developing online courses, and creating differentiated curricula for a diverse student population. Courtney has served on various committees, such as the Content Review Committee and Scope and Sequence Committee, focusing on assessment standards and best practices in Social Studies education. As a professional development facilitator, Courtney has led teacher workshops and collaborated with educators on effective teaching strategies. Previously, Courtney was a Civics Seal Inquiry Writer for the Tennessee Department of Education, designing civics-based units and mentoring new writers. Courtney holds a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education and Teaching and a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Belmont University.
