Dottie Critchlow is an experienced educational leader with significant contributions to Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools since 2013. Currently serving as the Retired Associate Superintendent and the MNPS Community Superintendent for Southwest Schools, Dottie supports educational initiatives in the Hillwood, Hillsboro, and Overton Clusters. Formerly an Executive Lead Principal, Dottie has been instrumental in enhancing the development and achievement of students across 29 elementary schools. Additionally, the role as Executive Officer for Instructional Support involved strengthening instructional programs for students from Pre-K through Grade 12, addressing various needs such as Exceptional Education and Advanced Academics. Dottie holds a Doctorate in School Leadership from Trevecca Nazarene University, a Master's Degree in Reading Teacher Education from The University of Akron, and a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from The University of Akron.
