Hannah Carlile

Hannah Carlile, M.Ed. is an accomplished educational professional with extensive experience in literacy intervention and English language education. Currently serving as an English Learner Specialist and Lead Literacy Interventionist at Metro Nashville Public Schools, Hannah has successfully increased literacy rates among target populations and received national recognition for these efforts. As a freelance educational consultant, Hannah developed an ESL After School Program for the Belize Ministry of Education and conducted evaluations of ESL and literacy interventions. During previous roles with organizations such as Equal Chances for an Equal Future and the Center for Public Research and Leadership at Columbia University, Hannah managed partnerships, secured funding, and facilitated professional development initiatives. With academic qualifications that include a Master of Education from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor's degree in French Language Studies and Linguistics from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, Hannah demonstrates a strong commitment to improving educational outcomes for linguistically diverse populations.
