Jami Oakley has extensive experience in public relations and community partnership development, currently serving as the Director of Community Partnership Development for the Homeless Education Resource Office at Metro Nashville Public Schools since March 2022. As the President and Founder of UniCycle, a school uniform recycling program initiated in January 2014, Jami has played a pivotal role in collecting and redistributing outgrown, gently-used clothing within the Metro Nashville Public School system. Previous experience includes a contractor role at Metro Nashville Public Schools from August 2019 to March 2020 and serving as an Account Director at Dancie Perugini Ware Public Relations from January 2001 to September 2006. Jami holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations/Image Management from the University of Houston.
