Jason Proffitt

Jason Proffitt has extensive experience in education, primarily as a High School English Teacher at Metro Nashville Public Schools since January 2011, where responsibilities include teaching standard and advanced English classes and coordinating the Extended Essay projects for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. Prior roles include English Teacher positions at Williamson County Schools and earlier at Metro Nashville Public Schools, where innovative curricula and successful student outcomes were emphasized. Jason's career in education began at Knox County Schools, where exceptional student participation and performance in AP exams were achieved. Jason holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Maryville College.
