Jeremiah Riggs

Jeremiah Riggs, Ed.D., currently serves as the Executive Principal at Metro Nashville Public Schools since July 2021. Prior to this role, Jeremiah held the position of Principal at PASSAGES CHARTER SCHOOL from August 2018 to July 2021 and Interim Principal at MCA from July 2017 to April 2018. Jeremiah's career in education began with Chicago Public Schools, where roles included Assistant Principal of Academics, Resident Principal for K-8, and Teacher from August 2012 to June 2017. Previous experience also includes teaching positions at Metro Nashville Public Schools and Pleasant View Christian School. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Liberty University, as well as an Education Specialist degree, a Master of Education in Elementary Education, and a Master's degree in Theological Studies. Jeremiah Riggs earned a Bachelor's degree from Welch College.
