Thomas Chappelle

Thomas Chappelle is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Executive Principal and Academic Administrator at Metro Nashville Public Schools since August 1999. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations, overseeing discipline and athletics, facilitating professional development for teachers, and mentoring staff. Prior experience includes teaching 6th and 7th-grade math, social studies, and science, as well as coaching multiple sports. Additionally, Thomas Chappelle taught 6th-grade math at Tulsa Public Schools from August 2005 to April 2006. Educational qualifications include an Ed.S. in Educational Administration and Supervision from Tennessee State University, a certification in Elementary Education from Fisk University, a Master’s degree in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from Tennessee State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Health and Sports Science from the University of Oklahoma.
