Ashley Engelhard has a diverse work experience in the field of occupational therapy. Ashley started their career as an Occupational Therapy Intern at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center, LLC in 2016 and later worked as an Occupational Therapy Student at various organizations such as Saltzman Community Service Center, AHAVA Medical and Rehabilitation, Sid Jacobson JCC, and Orzac Center Extended Care & Rehabilitation. In 2019, they gained hands-on experience as an Occupational Therapy Student at MONTEFIORE MEDICAL CENTER-WAKEFIELD HOSPITAL. From 2012 to 2020, Ashley worked as a Doctors Assistant at Foremost Independent Medical Examinations.
In 2020, Ashley joined LINK Home Therapy as the Lead Occupational Therapist, responsible for providing home care and assisted living facility services. Ashley also served as the Director of Rehabilitation from 2022 to 2023. In 2023, they joined CareRite Centers as an Occupational Therapist. Additionally, they worked at Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy as a Home Care Occupational Therapist in the same year.
Overall, Ashley Engelhard has solid experience in various occupational therapy roles, including internships, student positions, and leadership roles in both clinical and home care settings.
Ashley Engelhard began their education in 2013 at Coastal Carolina University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports and Exercise Science. Ashley attended the university for four years, graduating in 2017. In 2015, they also took part in a study abroad program at the University of Canberra. Following their undergraduate studies, Ashley went on to pursue a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy at Hofstra University. Ashley enrolled in 2017 and completed the program in 2019. Ashley specialized in Occupational Therapy/Therapist during their time at Hofstra University.
