Betsy Sahagun

Betsy Sahagun has extensive experience across various roles in communication, education, and real estate. Currently serving as an Information and Referral Specialist at Metro Referral Associates, Inc. since October 2020, Betsy previously worked as a Realtor Sales Associate with Long & Foster Companies, achieving recognition as part of the Silver Team and Executive Club while obtaining E-Pro Agent and E-Lead Agent certifications. Betsy's background includes substitute teaching for Fairfax County Public Schools, marketing representation at Horizon Title, and significant technical writing and analysis roles at companies such as SAIC, CSC, and CACI International Inc. Betsy began a career in government affairs at the Tobacco Institute and showcased creative skills as a copywriter at J. Walter Thompson Worldwide. Education includes a BA in Communications, Education, and Psychology from Hood College and additional studies in Broadcast and Journalism from St. George's, University of London and The George Washington University.
