Michael Y. Liu, CFA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in asset-backed securities (ABS) and collateralized debt obligations (CDOs). Currently serving as Managing Director at Guggenheim Securities since February 2011, Michael Y. Liu has held multiple positions within the firm, including Director, Vice President, and Associate, all focused on ABS and CDO trading. Prior experience includes a role as Analyst in Omnium Knowledge Management at Citadel LLC from July 2008 to February 2011 and as a Research Analyst at Brighton House Associates in the summer of 2007. Michael Y. Liu earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Chicago in 2009.
