Glenn Ross

Vice President Operations at Metro Supply Chain Group Inc.

Glenn Ross has over 40 years of work experience in various leadership roles within the supply chain industry. Glenn started their career as a Transportation Manager at AECI LIMITED, managing the distribution and supply chain for a large explosives and chemicals factory. Glenn then moved on to South African Breweries, where they served as an Area Manager responsible for the supply chain management of warehousing, transportation, production planning, and maintenance.

In 1991, Glenn joined Tibbett & Britten South Africa as the General Manager, overseeing nine business units and successfully converting them into profitable operating units. Glenn later became the National Director, establishing and managing a textiles supply chain subsidiary across Southern Africa.

In 1996, Glenn joined Tibbett & Britten Canada as the VP&GM, leading the company's operations and successfully managing all their business units. Glenn then joined Exel North America in 2004 as the Vice President, overseeing 19 business units across North America.

Glenn's extensive experience and leadership skills led him to become the President of ACC Inc. in 2004. In this role, they focused on importing high-quality foods from Europe at reduced costs, cutting out middle costs and offering competitive prices to consumers.

Currently, Glenn serves as the Vice President of Operations at Metro Supply Chain Group, where they continue to apply their expertise in supply chain management.

Glenn Ross attended Damelin College, where they studied Purchasing Management. Glenn then went on to the University of South Africa, where they pursued a B.Comm degree. During their time at the university, they focused on three fields of study, namely Transport Economics, Business Economics, and Economics. Lastly, Glenn Ross enrolled at the University of the Witwatersrand, where they pursued a degree in Executive Management.
