Danielle McCarthy

Danielle McCarthy is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience across various sectors, including transport, energy, and government. Currently serving as Communications Manager at Metro Trains Melbourne since July 2018, Danielle has held multiple roles including those focused on transformation and passenger experience related to the Metro Tunnel Project. Prior to this, Danielle worked at CitiPower and Powercor as Internal Communications Manager, and at ANZ as a Communications Advisor, supporting a large employee base across multiple markets. Danielle's earlier roles include Internal Communications Manager at the Clean Energy Regulator, Change Communications Manager at Coutts & Co in the UK, Communications Executive for the London Borough of Hackney Council, and Senior Communications Advisor at the Australian Government Department of the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts. Danielle holds a Bachelor of Communications specializing in Public Relations from the University of Canberra.
