John Simon

John Simon currently serves as the Head of Information Management at Metro Trains Melbourne, a position held since April 2018. Prior to this, John Simon held multiple leadership roles at Telstra from July 2011 to November 2017, including General Manager for Performance Reporting and Systems, and Innovation, Solution and Adoption, where responsibilities included managing a large team and overseeing customer engagement and technical standards. John's earlier experience includes positions at Avanade as Business Intelligence Group Manager, Prima Consulting as Solutions Architect and Practice Lead, as well as various roles at organizations such as ANZ, eNett, DOI, and Waldorf Consulting. John Simon holds a degree in Applied Science, Computing from Southern Cross University and completed education at Maitland Boys High School.
