Evan Owens

Evan Owens, PE, is a highly experienced engineering professional with a focus on geotechnical design and project management. Currently serving as Principal Engineer for Arterial BRT Projects at Metro Transit since January 2022, Owens previously held positions as Engineer II at American Engineering Testing, Inc., Geotechnical Design Engineer at Stanley Consultants, and Senior Engineer at the Metropolitan Council of the Twin Cities. Experience includes oversight of stormwater and wastewater capacity planning, as well as geotechnical site investigations for various commercial and residential developments. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Geological Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, completed in 2012.
