John McMahon

John McMahon is a highly experienced engineer specializing in utility analysis and infrastructure within liquid waste services. Currently serving as the Lead Senior Engineer at Metro Vancouver since 2015, John oversees infrastructure rehabilitation and upgrades for the Greater Vancouver regional sewage system, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure effective community services. Prior to this role, John held various positions including Senior Project Manager for the Combined Sewer Separation Program with the City of Vancouver, Manager of Roads and Utilities at the District of West Vancouver, and Utilities Engineer with the City of New Westminster, where significant accomplishments in asset management and project development were achieved. John's career began as an Environmental Engineer with the City of Brampton and included roles at various consulting firms focused on water resources and environmental engineering. John holds a Master of Engineering from McMaster University and a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Waterloo.
