Lisa Dominato, MA, GCB.D, has extensive experience in public service and education policy. Currently serving as a Board Member for the Federation of Canadian Municipalities and a City Councillor for the City of Vancouver since November 2018, Lisa also holds a position as a Director on the Board of Metro Vancouver. Previously, Lisa was a Trustee for the Vancouver School Board and a Consultant with big think communications inc. From 2011 to June 2018, Lisa chaired The Kettle Society, and from November 2010 to August 2017, led the Student Wellness and Safety initiative at the BC Ministry of Education, focusing on the ERASE Bullying Strategy. Early roles included Chief of Staff to the Deputy Premier and Minister of Education and an Executive Assistant in the Minister's Office. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Leadership from Royal Roads University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of British Columbia.
