Michael Norton, PE, P.Eng. is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in project management and civil engineering. Currently serving as Project Manager for the Major Projects - Coquitlam Water Supply Program at Metro Vancouver since November 2021, Michael manages significant upgrades to the Coquitlam Reservoir water supply infrastructure. Previous roles include Senior Project Engineer for the NW Langley Wastewater Treatment Plant Projects at Metro Vancouver and Senior Civil Engineer at Seattle Public Utilities, where Michael led major drinking water and interagency projects. With earlier experience as Client Services Manager at Kennedy / Jenks Consultants and as Senior Associate Water at Stantec, Michael has a well-rounded background in business development and project management. Additional experience includes serving as PM and Vice President at HDR, focusing on water reuse and treatment, along with roles at Gray & Osborne and Battelle. Michael holds a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Seattle University.
