Brittany Sears is a Licensed Professional Counselor at Metrocare Services since October 2020, responsible for providing therapeutic counseling and training in living, social, and coping skills. Previously, Brittany held positions as a Dual QMHP and a Therapy Intern at the Children's Advocacy Center of Collin County, where responsibilities included service coordination, therapeutic sessions, and crisis intervention. Experience also includes working as a Youth Care Worker at Cumberland Presbyterian Children's Home, managing daily functions and supervising youth, as well as roles in retail and academic support. Brittany is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Executive Leadership and Mental Health at Houston Christian University, after earning a Master’s degree in Counseling and Development and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas Woman's University.

WHO WE ARE Metrocare is changing minds! We are North Texas' leading nonprofit dedicated to helping people with mental illness, developmental disabilities, and severe emotional problems live healthier lives. The primary disorders treated by Metrocare include depression, bi-polar, schizophrenia, anxiety, autism, ADD, and ADHD. OUR OPPORTUNITIES Metrocare hires psychologists and psychiatrists (bilingual and Spanish-language skills are needed and valued). We have research programs, and we train a new generation of mental health professionals for work in the public sector. OUR SERVICES Metrocare serves over 50,000 people annually. We provide adult mental healthcare services, including medication management, children and adolescent mental healthcare services, mental retardation/developmental disability services for adults and children, early childhood intervention services, primary healthcare services for families, pharmacy services, and social services that include housing services, occupational services, and foster care training and monitoring. OUR CLINICS Our 14 clinics and satellite clinics (including 7 main clinics) include two Centers for Children with Autism. Clinics are in Dallas, Grand Prairie, and Addison.
