Curtis Bilyeu

Curtis Bilyeu has a diverse work experience in the field of mental health. Curtis started their career as a Psychiatric Nursing Assistant III at North Texas State Hospital in 2005, where they ensured the safety of the facility and collaborated with the treatment team. From 2008 to 2010, Curtis worked as a Patient Care Assistant at St. Francis Memorial Hospital, specializing in geriatric psychiatric care. Curtis evaluated patients and provided them with therapeutic skills and coping mechanisms. In 2010, Curtis had an internship as a Medical Assistant at Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare. From 2010 to 2011, they served as a Patient Care Technician at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, specifically in the Neurosurgery Unit, where they managed client movement and documented patient information. Curtis then worked as a Psychiatric Crisis Triage Assistant at Denton County MHMR Center from February to December 2014, providing quality care, implementing procedures, and assisting individuals in a psychiatric facility. From 2014 to 2018, they worked as a Mental Health Technician II at HCA Healthcare.
