Ikenna Mogbo began their work experience in 1999 as a General Manager at Ruby Tuesday's Tia's Tex-Mex restaurant. From 2004 to 2008, they worked as a General Manager at Saltgrass Steakhouse under Landry's Restaurants. In 2009, they became the Director of Supportive Housing and Homeless Services at Metrocare Services and Vice President of Housing and Support Services at LifeNet Texas. In these roles, they managed Permanent Supportive Housing programs, overseeing staff and properties for formerly homeless, mentally ill individuals in the Dallas Metroplex. In 2015, they transitioned to the role of Housing and Veteran Services Outpatient Operations Manager at Metrocare Services, managing a program that assists homeless veterans and their families.
Ikenna Mogbo attended Morehouse College from 1991 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and Government.

WHO WE ARE Metrocare is changing minds! We are North Texas' leading nonprofit dedicated to helping people with mental illness, developmental disabilities, and severe emotional problems live healthier lives. The primary disorders treated by Metrocare include depression, bi-polar, schizophrenia, anxiety, autism, ADD, and ADHD. OUR OPPORTUNITIES Metrocare hires psychologists and psychiatrists (bilingual and Spanish-language skills are needed and valued). We have research programs, and we train a new generation of mental health professionals for work in the public sector. OUR SERVICES Metrocare serves over 50,000 people annually. We provide adult mental healthcare services, including medication management, children and adolescent mental healthcare services, mental retardation/developmental disability services for adults and children, early childhood intervention services, primary healthcare services for families, pharmacy services, and social services that include housing services, occupational services, and foster care training and monitoring. OUR CLINICS Our 14 clinics and satellite clinics (including 7 main clinics) include two Centers for Children with Autism. Clinics are in Dallas, Grand Prairie, and Addison.
