Rebecca Hampton has had three work experiences listed in chronological order.
From March 2022 onwards, they worked as a Mental Health Clinician at Metrocare Services. Their role involved providing goal-directed interventions to support and improve the mental and behavioral health of eligible clients. Rebecca assisted individuals dealing with various issues, including thoughts of suicide, addictions, substance abuse, family and marital problems, stress management, and self-esteem issues.
Starting in June 2018 and continuing to the present, Rebecca served as a Volunteer Coordinator and Mentor at IGTBOK.ORG. In this role, they provided guidance and recommended coping mechanisms to youth facing difficult issues. Additionally, they assisted them with their daily activities, such as homework assignments, sports and fitness, art, and literacy. Rebecca maintained strict confidentiality unless abuse, neglect, or threats were identified.
From January 2018 to March 2020, Rebecca worked as a Front Desk Receptionist at Sam Rayburn Student Center. Their responsibilities included greeting clients, connecting them with the appropriate party, taking and passing on messages to guests, and answering telephone calls.
Rebecca Hampton attended Texas A&M University-Commerce from 2015 to 2020. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology.

WHO WE ARE Metrocare is changing minds! We are North Texas' leading nonprofit dedicated to helping people with mental illness, developmental disabilities, and severe emotional problems live healthier lives. The primary disorders treated by Metrocare include depression, bi-polar, schizophrenia, anxiety, autism, ADD, and ADHD. OUR OPPORTUNITIES Metrocare hires psychologists and psychiatrists (bilingual and Spanish-language skills are needed and valued). We have research programs, and we train a new generation of mental health professionals for work in the public sector. OUR SERVICES Metrocare serves over 50,000 people annually. We provide adult mental healthcare services, including medication management, children and adolescent mental healthcare services, mental retardation/developmental disability services for adults and children, early childhood intervention services, primary healthcare services for families, pharmacy services, and social services that include housing services, occupational services, and foster care training and monitoring. OUR CLINICS Our 14 clinics and satellite clinics (including 7 main clinics) include two Centers for Children with Autism. Clinics are in Dallas, Grand Prairie, and Addison.
