Rita Jones, MSW has a diverse work experience in the field of social work. Rita started their career as a Medical Records Coordinator at Brentwood Hospice from November 2010 to May 2012. From June 2015 to December 2015, they worked as a Social Service and Case Manager at Wilkinson Center, where they provided case management, career workshops, and individualized assistance to clients. Then, from January 2016 to December 2016, they worked as an MSW Family Advocate at Head Start of Greater Dallas, conducting meetings, risk assessments, and home visits for families, as well as administering referrals to outside agencies. Their most recent role is as a Qualified Mental Health Professional at Metrocare Services, which they started in April 2017.
Rita Jones obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree from Dallas College in the years 2012 to 2014. Rita then pursued further education at Texas A&M University-Commerce, where they completed their Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree from 2014 to 2015. Later, in 2016, they continued their studies at Texas A&M University-Commerce and earned a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree.

WHO WE ARE Metrocare is changing minds! We are North Texas' leading nonprofit dedicated to helping people with mental illness, developmental disabilities, and severe emotional problems live healthier lives. The primary disorders treated by Metrocare include depression, bi-polar, schizophrenia, anxiety, autism, ADD, and ADHD. OUR OPPORTUNITIES Metrocare hires psychologists and psychiatrists (bilingual and Spanish-language skills are needed and valued). We have research programs, and we train a new generation of mental health professionals for work in the public sector. OUR SERVICES Metrocare serves over 50,000 people annually. We provide adult mental healthcare services, including medication management, children and adolescent mental healthcare services, mental retardation/developmental disability services for adults and children, early childhood intervention services, primary healthcare services for families, pharmacy services, and social services that include housing services, occupational services, and foster care training and monitoring. OUR CLINICS Our 14 clinics and satellite clinics (including 7 main clinics) include two Centers for Children with Autism. Clinics are in Dallas, Grand Prairie, and Addison.
