Carolyn Farr Shanesy

Carolyn Farr Shanesy is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in public relations and journalism. Currently serving as the Communications/PR Manager at MetroConnects since August 2018, Carolyn has also held the role of Independent Distributor at AdvoCare since 2012. Prior experience includes working as a Communications Officer at the University of South Carolina Upstate from September 2013 to August 2018, and as an Associate Regional Editor for Patch.com, overseeing hyper-local news coverage. Previous roles include Assignment Editor at Fox Carolina/WHNS, Features Editor and Assistant Editor for Administration at the Herald-Journal, and Lifestyles Editor at The Union Daily Times. Carolyn holds a BA in Communications - Journalism from the University of South Carolina Upstate and an AA in English from Spartanburg Methodist College.
