Shen Ming Loo has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. They began their career in 2003 as a Network Administrator at Allianz Life, where they managed server maintenance and implemented security policies. From there, they worked as a Systems Engineer at Formis Software Dynamics, handling pre-sales activities and providing technical support.

In 2005, Shen joined MCSB as a Systems and Network Specialist, where they were involved in enterprise-level projects and provided analysis, troubleshooting, and proposed new solutions. They then joined HP as a Global Delivery Technical Lead, managing a team and providing proactive service delivery support.

Next, Shen worked at CSC as a Client Delivery Manager, overseeing the Workplace Collaborative Tower and managing financials, resources, and vendor relationships. They later joined DHL as the Global Manager of Messaging Services, leading a team and managing messaging and directory services globally.

In 2015, Shen took on the role of Site IT Lead at APRIL, responsible for IT operations and people management in multiple industries. They then joined DXC Technology as a Regional Project Services Delivery Manager, overseeing various technology domains and managing project transformation and operations.

From 2018 to 2021, Shen worked as the Head of Information Technology at NCT Group, where they led the IT department and developed and implemented IT strategies and digital transformation plans.

Currently, Shen serves as the Assistant General Manager and IT Head at Metrod Holdings Berhad. In this role, they manage the group IT department, align IT infrastructures, implement new solutions, and oversee ongoing digital transformation ERP projects.

Throughout their career, Shen has demonstrated expertise in IT management, project delivery, team leadership, and strategic planning.

Shen Ming Loo's education history begins with their high school education at Bukit Mertajam High School from 1988 to 1992, where they pursued a Science Stream. They then went on to obtain an NCC Advanced Diploma in Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology from Informatics College from 1995 to 1997. Afterwards, Shen Ming Loo pursued a Bachelor's degree in Sports Science Management from the University of Malaya from 1998 to 2001. Following this, they completed an Associate's degree in Investment Analysis from RMIT University from 2000 to 2001. Shen Ming Loo then went on to earn a Master's degree in Information Technology from Universiti Malaya from 2001 to 2003.

In addition to their formal education, Shen Ming Loo also obtained several certifications. They acquired the PRINCE2 Foundation Certificate from PRINCE2.com in April 2017 and the ITIL Intermediate Certificate in IT Continual Service Improvement (CSI) from ITIL Certified in March 2017. Prior to this, they obtained the Blackberry Certified Solution Designer certification from BlackBerry in June 2013 and the ITIL Foundation Certificate version 3 in IT Service Management from ITIL Certified in September 2012. Furthermore, Shen Ming Loo acquired the Vmware Certified Professional certification from VMware in March 2009, the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist certification from Microsoft in June 2008, and the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer certification from Microsoft in May 2003.
