Eric Smith

Eric Smith has over three decades of experience in the railroad industry, currently serving as an Emergency Manager at Metrolink since December 2019, where additional roles include Field Operations Manager and Manager II Operations. Prior to this, Eric held the position of Rail Operations Officer at North County Transit District from March 2019 to December 2019. Eric’s extensive career at Amtrak spanned from February 1989 to February 2019, featuring titles such as Superintendent of the Southwest Division and Route Director for the Southwest Chief and Coast Starlight, among others. In addition to railway operations, Eric Smith is a Railroad Artist and has operated Eric Smith Railroad Art since November 2001.
