Carlos Collado currently serves as the Director of Transit System Safety Assurance Governance within the Corporate Safety Division at Metrolinx, where responsibilities include leading safety assurance governance for significant transit expansion programs valued over $100 billion. With a strong history in the field, Carlos has held pivotal roles at AECOM, including Director of Transit Safety Assurance & Systems Engineering, where strategic advisory services were provided to Metrolinx and Infrastructure Ontario. Carlos has managed various engineering and assurance processes and has been an integral part of key decision-making panels. An accomplished engineer with extensive experience in railway systems and transit projects, Carlos holds multiple degrees in engineering from prestigious institutions in Spain, demonstrating a solid foundation in the field.
