Vice President, Payment Products, Digital Channels And Customer Experience at Metrolinx

Dameon Wilson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Dameon started their career at TELUS Communications in 2000, where they worked as a Team Manager and later as a Product Specialist, leading the voice features portfolio. During their time at TELUS, they increased revenue by $5 million per annum and developed strategies to combat challenges and reduce churn. Dameon then moved on to become a Program Manager, where they designed business cases and executed loyalty and retention programs.

In 2005, Dameon joined Rogers Communications as a Manager, Customer Base Management, and later transitioned to Manager, Product Marketing. Dameon managed a budget of $20 million and led sales stimulation programs that increased sales. Dameon was also responsible for product positioning and communications plans for new product launches.

Next, Dameon worked at Sears Canada as a Director, Pricing, where they led pricing initiatives to drive sustainable category growth and profitability. Dameon increased incremental margin and sales for private label and national brand categories and implemented pricing governance methods.

In 2017, Dameon joined Manulife as an Assistant Vice President, Direct to Consumer Insurance, where they managed the P&L for the direct-to-consumer portfolio. Dameon then moved on to Metrolinx in 2020, starting as a Director of PRESTO Customer Experience and Digital Channel Products, before becoming Vice President of Payment Products, Digital Channels, and Customer Experience. At Metrolinx, they led digital transformation initiatives, improved customer satisfaction, and increased revenue through new product offerings.

Throughout their career, Dameon has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and an ability to drive revenue and profit growth.

Dameon Wilson completed their education with a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing Management from Ryerson University in 2004. Dameon then pursued their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Marketing and Finance from both Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management and York University - Schulich School of Business in 2012-2013. In addition, they hold a certification in Human Resources Management.
